Traveling and lodging come in one package, right?
Here was Naruncha Green House, which housed us in Chiang Mai. Since the four of us were not fussy on having the great-with-stars kind of hotel, so we went for those which offered excellent values–meaning: great location (near the food and transportation!), basic facilities: B&B! (we would rather bed and bathroom than bed and breakfast!) and, since we did mind our budget, great price (read: cheap, cheap, cheap!). If you are looking for the same things, you might want to check this out.
Naruncha Green House
TTM Plus One with GOI, the kind and funny Naruncha Green House owner! Thank you for the excellent hospitality ❤
Now, now, I would recommend Naruncha Green House if you ever stay in Chiang Mai. It was located about 50 metres from the corner of Old City Wall between the Tapae Gate and Chiang Mai Gate. From Chiang Mai Train Station it was around 10-15 mins ride, and by songthaew (one of Thai public transports) you were most likely have to pay around THB 30 per person.
The hospitality we experienced at Naruncha Green House was heartwarming. The owner, Goi, was very, very funny and kind to us. Budget was excellent value. We spent THB 600 per day for a room for four persons. It’s non A/C and very basic: 4 single beds, 1 toilet and 1 wash room, and not cramped (it was a big room). Mineral water and WiFi were included in the price. There is also laundry service, THB 30 per kilo plus THB 5 for ironing. The house also offer Thai Massage which was THB 180 for one hour session, which I highly recommend, especially after one full day of motorbike touring to Doi Inthanon National Park!
